Hearts With Hope
The Hearts with Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 by Dr Juan Carlos Alejos. Inspired by his father, Dr. Alejos is passionately driven to care for children with congenital defects, especially heart disease. The foundation is active across Peru, currently headquartered in Lima, providing highly specialized medical care to those suffering from highly complex conditions.
By educating and assisting local healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease the Hearts with Hope Foundation endeavors to create self sustainable pediatric cardiac centers accessible to as many people as possible.
